Desperate fo Chris Carmack

Desperate Housewives has tapped onetime O.C. jock Chris Carmack for a potentially recurring role, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Carmack will play Susan’s studly cousin Tim, who shows up on Wisteria Lane to help his older cuz with her taxes and ends up doing Mike’s, too. (If the character sounds oddly familiar, here’s why.)

Housewives is also casting a teenaged version of Tim, who’ll be seen in a flashback. Tim apparently witnessed a tragic event, possibly involving Susan… and Howie Long… and a series of Radio Shack ads.

I kid.
